Ludus Tours was created in 2003 specifically for the Athens 2004 Olympics. Adam and Jessica Dailey, Ludus’ founders, were high
school sweethearts who went on to become NCAA All American athletes together at the University of Arkansas.
After stints in Austin, Texas, and Barcelona, Spain, the Daileys packed up everything and moved to Athens, Greece, at the beginning of 2004 to start Ludus Tours. Almost 6 years and 3,000 clients later, Ludus still has the same objective: to give people the experience of a lifetime without spending their life savings.
Through their travels around the world, they kept going back to Oktoberfest, bringing different friends and family every year. Eventually, they decided tomake a business out of their Oktoberfest addiction.
In 2005, Ludus opened the Festival Division of Ludus Tours focusing on two of Europe's largest (and most fun) events: Oktoberfest in Munich and the San Fermines Festival (or Running of the Bulls) in Pamplona, Spain.
Over the years, Ludus has established itself as a company who knows its events well and understands the customer, making each vacation a Ludus adventure. If you’re looking for the traditional tour where you stay on a bus, eat at tourist joints and don't actually get to drink any beer, look elsewhere.
