Ammer is one of the smaller tents, but it's definitely one of our favorites. It's known as one of the more upscale tens of Oktoberfest...the prices are a bit high but you'll have a GREAT TIME at this tent. We can't say enough good things about our experiences with Ammer.
With a band that rocks all night and more food than your group will ever need, you won't be disappointed spending the evening at Ammer beer tent.
Josef Schmidbauer is the 5th generation owner of Ammer, which is regarded as a landmark and symbol for Oktoberfest in Munich that has existed for more than 120 years. Ammer still stands for crispy organic chicken and ducks.
Ammer is a great place for groups. You don't have to deal with the overzealous drunken Italians, you get amazing music and you won't find better duck or chicken on the Oktoberfest grounds (although nearby Poschner gives them a run for their money).
