Hippodrom is one of our favorite tents, seating 3,200 people inside and another 1,000 in the outside beer garden. When the tent originally came to Oktoberfest in 1902, it offered horserides and was the Wies'ns first amusement tent. Though its equine friends are no longer, the tent continues to provide some of the best entertainment on the grounds and is a popular celebrity hangout.

When Sepp Krätz took over ownership in 1995 he brought incredible food choices to the tent, along with a champagne bar and brews from the Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu. The tent draws a young, energetic crowd and features popular Bavarian bands such as Münchner Zweitracht and Simmisamma. You're bound to have a great time at Hippodrom!
